Data controller
The data controller is the organisation behind Interamna Swing Festival. For any request about your personal data write to info@interamnaswing.com.
What data we collect
When you register for the event through the booking form we collect:
- first and last name;
- date of birth;
- city and country of residence;
- dance role (leader or follower);
- email address and phone number;
- your dance school, if provided;
- the passes and services you choose and, if you register as a couple, the same data about your partner.
If you write to info@interamnaswing.com or contact us on WhatsApp, we process the data you send in your message.
Payment is by bank transfer: we do not collect or store payment card data.
Why we use it
Your data is used only to run the event: managing your registration and passes, forming classes and couples, sending confirmations and necessary communications, checking payments and handling arrivals at the festival. The legal basis is performing the registration you requested (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Providing the booking form data is required: without it we cannot accept your registration.
If you register as a couple, you confirm that you have informed your partner and are entitled to give us their data.
Who receives it
Your data is not sold or sent to third parties and is not used for marketing or profiling. It is accessible only to the organisers and volunteers who manage registrations. The website and booking system use technical providers (hosting and email) that process data only on our behalf, as data processors, within the European Economic Area.
How long we keep it
Because the festival takes place every year, we keep your data to make future editions easier, until you ask us to delete it. You can request deletion at any time as described below. Retention duties required by law remain unaffected.
Your rights
You may at any time ask us for access to, rectification or erasure of your data, restriction of processing and portability, and you may object to processing, by writing to info@interamnaswing.com. We reply within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority; in Italy, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it).
Cookies
The site does not use profiling, analytics or marketing cookies and installs no tracking tools. For this reason there is no consent banner.
The site’s fonts are served from our own server and are not loaded from external services.
External services
- Google Maps: on the Accommodation page the interactive map loads only after you click a place. At that moment Google receives your IP address and may set its own cookies, under Google’s privacy policy. If you do not click, no data is sent to Google.
- Links to Instagram, Facebook and WhatsApp: these are plain links; the respective providers process data only if you open them.
